About the film: Tampopo - Juzo Itami, Japan 1987 (comedy/western): How can the medium of film convey the texture, mouthfeel, and nuance of taste, you may wonder. But after Tampopo, you'll wonder no more! This is a very funny & strange (& even erotic!) tale about a woman on a quest to make the perfect bowl of noodles.

About the club: Whether you’re a seasoned film-buff or bashful wannabe - this is the club for you! Teddy’s Film Club is an open and relaxed an space to discuss, ponder, and appreciate the cinematic world. We’ll be watching influential and foundational films - both foreign and domestic - in an effort to deepen your love, understanding, and engagement with capital-c Cinema.
