We are here to provide it all with Teddy’s Book Club, meeting on the second Sunday of each month at 6:30 pm. Amanda will be hosting, and as a group we’ll discuss the monthly selections and choose what we’d like to read for the upcoming month. Whether you’re one of our regulars who regularly posts up with a book or someone who wishes to recapture the magic (and attention-span) of youthful reading, we are the group for you!

March’s 📚: “Stories of Your Life & Others” - Ted Chiang

Amanda’s Commentary: It’s the first month, and so I get to choose with no input from anyone! I adore this sci-fi short story collection - it straddles the wall between so-called genre fic & literary fic beautifully. I decided on this as our opening selection because (besides loving it) I think it’s an incredibly accessible book: short stories are perhaps not as intimidating as a whole novel, and whether you’re a genre freak or lit snob, there is something in here for you.
